You have to realize something, my best friend and band mate REP stopped hitting this individual on our own. No security pulled us off the punk. This idiot who got on stage was a big guy, bigger then REP and I. He was obviously under the influence and had the look of fury in his eyes with the intent to harm us when he charged and swung at me with all his might. There is no way this moron was going to be restrained by holding him. There's no way if we just hit him once or twice, he was gonna stop. We simply did what was right. When we saw he was no longer a threat, we stopped and walked away. Let's make this perfectly clear, I'm not onstage to beat people down or insight violence but remember, if need be we will and have reacted accordingly. This story could have gone a completely different way. The headlines might have read "otherwise" if not for the action taken by my crew to keep things orderly!!!!!! I can guarantee that if this chump got me down, he would of kicked me in my head and that would of prompted other individuals to rush the stage and do the same. Then you would have had a full scale riot.

REP and I acted accordingly to protect ourselves and everyone on stage. It was just all too recent and fresh a memory for most "Metal" bands and fans, that on December 8, 2004, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, and 3 others were murdered when a gunman, took to the stage and began shooting during the band's show in Columbus, Ohio, USA.

WE WEREN'T GOING TO LET THAT HAPPEN AGAIN!!!!!!

The most ridiculous thing about all of this is that it was prompted because of the music we played. I mean you don't have to like us, that's fine. Go grab a drink, sit down, boo us, that's totally cool, you have a right to your opinion, but rush the stage and attack us? I mean what the Fuck is that? Even throwing things at us like beer and popsicles, and other objects is just silly. Popsicles are really silly. That made me laugh, I'm still laughing. However I would like to
point out that even when we had various objects thrown at us, we never once lost our cool and remained professional.

This is to the narrow minded people at SENSATION BLACK. So you had to listen to something you never heard before. BOO-FUCKING-HOO!!!!!!! "Jeez guys I never heard this music before, I think it sucks. Duh, I got a "brilliant" idea, let's throw popsicles at the Artist, then let's jump on stage and attack him. After all its music and if I don't
like it I have every right to commit acts of violence"

As far as GEEing different;

"THAT'S EXACTLY WHERE WE WANT TO BE, JUST AHEAD OF THE CURVE, SETTING TRENDS, NOT FOLLOWING THEM …THERE'S MORE TO LIFE THAN JUST "BOOM BOOM BOOM". SURE, WE HAD SOME OF THAT, YET, WE"VE CREATED MUCH MUCH MORE THAT THE EAR OF THE FREE-MINDED WILL APPRECIATE"

ID&T, Duncan Stutterhiem and I share the mission of moving the music forward, that's what makes our choices of music and line ups so exciting. We both take the risks to keep it fresh CAUSE THAT'S WHAT WE DO!!!!!!

I love Holland - I love what it stands for, I'm fascinated by it's history and I love it's people and culture! Arguably a most influential environment for music, art and philosophy. As we know - Rene' Descartes spent the last 20 years (1628-1649) of his life in Holland and was most productive during this time. I'm no Descartes and my methodology and music, won't be bringing about the transition of medieval science and philosophy to the modern era. I'm just Rob GEE making my moves to keep the music evolving! That open-mindedness is what I've always know the Dutch to have and I look forward to that kind of support from my Dutch fans and all my fans around the "uni"verse, not the attack we endured at Sensation Black!"

YOU NEVER GET ANYWHERE IN LIFE WITHOUT TRYING NEW THINGS.
THAT'S HOW I ALWAYS LIVE MY LIFE, THAT'S WHY I ALWAYS LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FULL SUPPORT FROM DUTCH METAL BAND GILO

Yo Rob Gee!
You had all the right in the world to react the way you reacted and I just wanted to say that Gilo (dutch metal/hardcore band) fully supports you, the people you work with (biohazard/slipknot) and nothing but respect for people willing to try something new and different! It should be a message to all performers: if some loser junkie gets on stage then f#ckin' beat the living shit out of 'em!! Like the last Biohazard album says: kill or be killed!!! The world of music should never have to re-live a situation like the Dimebag murder again!!
I apologize as a Dutch music lover and I hope you won't stop visiting Holland. True hardcore never dies!!!

Hey Rob,
Sorry that incident happened at Sensation Black. It was a really great idea to do a gig here. I hope people will get more open-minded in the future. Maybe the place wasn't just right. Maybe this music hits better on a festival like Dour in Belgium, we're the same people listen to Do Or Die as to Hellfish. Hope you don't stop doing this. You are absolutely great & I'll always support you as a gabber- and a metalfan!

Sensation Black 2006

Hi Rob,
i´m into tekkno, electronic hardcore, gabber and industrial since 1991 and a few of your early productions (especially riot squad on 12gauge) are in my alltime top ten. you´ve influenced my style of music!

in the early and mid ninetees there was no harder producer as you. i´ve visit a lot of parties where you´ve played as a dj or as a live act. i remember a night in germany where i´ve met you and dj narotic. of course i´ve got all your
records till 2000. the first track from you i didnt like was the "ecstacy you´ve got what i need", unfortunately maybe the most famous gee-track in the gabber-scene. also the adam-productions are not my style. your project ampt starts interesting, but there are no releases.

i dont visit the sensation black party but when i´ve heard what happened, i cant believe it. fuckin hardstyle people!
keep on making music! a lot of real people recpect your work, your project and your person!
for your future: 110% enerGEE!
all the best from germany

devastation 2008

Hey

Its nice to see that there are people trying new things, other than just ripping/copying the hype shit.

I bet Many of the "not amused"crowd isnt aware that you also are one of the artist that molded hardcore in the way many people like it now.

Aso i think half of the crowd was still shitting diapers when you where already performing on stage.

I really want to apologize for the narrowminded people that holland is covered with, many are only at sensation:
1 because all their 'friends" are there, 2 because if they weren't there they could not talk about how bad/good it was etc.

Just keep doing what you are doing.

Dion

u rock'd @ sensation!!!

Hiya Mr. Gee

I just have to say that you and your buddies rocked like hell on Sensation!!
I wasn't able to come to the party beacuse i had some bookings myself.
Though I listened the set afterwards and i saw some filmrecordings people made.

You guys were totally right about kicking the sob's ass!!! And fuck everybody who were boo-ing and showing middlefingers to you! Fucking narrowminded wankers! I'm doing some things for ID&T (I also did the last thunderdome cd with Justin from ID&T) and I definately am going to ask them for another of these performances but than @ Thunderdome!

Respect for your musical experimentz!!_O_

grtz and loads of respect!!!!

Paul

Sensation Black, what the heck

Hey Rob and others,

I was going to sensation because i had been there already once and my friends wanted me to be there. But when i heard that you would come, added with nice spices called SlipKnot and Bio hazard, i was fired up to see it. It went wrong horribly (well, you know that yourself by now, so what else is new). The guy who attacked you was a real dumb ass. Why go on a stage where you will find guys who are experienced with mosh pits? If you want to die so badly, try jumping in front of a train.

Anyway, i hope you dont skip Holland because of this. We have more friendly and willing to listen festivals with nice alternative guys who want to rock hard to the core! you happen to stumble on the 40.000 dutchman who did not like it. but we have a population of 15 million, so there is a big chance your shit will hit public.

For now i will apologize for my fellow men and women at sensation, they where not worthy. have mercy.
Hope to meet you again sometime, you on stage, me jumping in the crowd met thousands of other guys and girls digin the sound.

Greetz and keep up the good stuff.

Raymon

P.S.
This message is not all tungs in asses. Something have to be done on the guitar solo's. I found them crappy. Don't strangle it, play it. learn from the master (name a Kirk Hammet) and come back with result. Just wanted to show that i do not kiss ass without a price.

respect for your set @ sensation black!

Hey Robert!

I would like to say that I really enjoyed the set you and the guys played at sensation black.
Unfortunately I wasn't there at the time. I think it is a shame that so many hardstyle-minded peepz didn't like your act. Fuck em. They don't know what real hardcore is about. They probally never seen the old acts of neophyte, with jarno jamming the guitar.

A shame, but what can we do about it. I think the combination of hardcore beats and metal influences can make gabber more populair around the globe, and especially in the states. Therefore I really respect what you guys are doing! Keep up the good work!

Respect and kind regards,

Peter

Great show at Sensation Black Holland

Hi Rob,
First of all: You and your entourage were the reason I went to Sensation in the first place.
I'm a metalhead at heart, but I like electronic music as well, from elektro to industrial speedcore and what not. I always thought you, Biohazard and Slipknow are great, so I HAD to see this show. And then this shit happens. I can only imagine as a musician how fucked up it must be to experience this.

It's a typical reaction of narrow minded assholes disrespecting artists like this. Throwing beer already is over the edge in my opinion.
I hope to ever have the chance to see you live with this group of people at a "normal" show, but I think that would ever happen.

So, to cut this short: It was awesome seeing you guys for as long as it lasted. Me and my sister had a great time amongst the booing crowd of sheep. And who was the other MC? And is there any way for me to contact Billy Graziadei?

Take care,
Vincento

You Rock!

Ey,
Mayby a weird e-mail, but I want you to let you know that the crowd at Sensation last Saturday was pretty narrow minded: most people only dig happy anthems & 1234beats and that's it.

The whole AMPT thing is just massive, the wankers at Sensation didn't understand it!
So fuck them!

Hope to see you soon with "your band" on a normal "real" hardcore and/or rock festival

Greetz,
Ezra (the dude who was sleeping the whole cartrip from Hellraiser Germany to Schiphol last year)

respect

Hi rob

You did a great job last saterday.

Fuck the hardstyle losers !!!!!!!!!! Keep doing your style.

Cheers,

Paul aka dj the vizitor

Sorry about Sensation. What a freakin idot.

HI.

My name is Esben.
I was at sensation black this weekend.

I just wanted to tell you that i think it was a sad thing that happent, with the fight on stage.
No matter how much people may dislike a live act, hitting the artist is not okay.

I saw the hole thing on the big screen from the VIP lounge.
I must say that I didnt like the performance, but I sure as hell would never had done what that fool did.

I sure alot of things went wrong, the sound was awfull, and it seemed like you guys, where just thrown on stage without any introduktion or anything ells.

I think the idea of fusion between hardstyle and rock is an interesting idea, and with musicians like the biohazard guys it really became interesting.

Hope that the episode dont make you guys drop the idea.

Med Venlig Hilsen / Kind Regards

Esben Bach

Sensation Black

Hey,
I saw the videos of your performance with slipknot @ Sensation black last weekend and I must say that i'm really ashamed of the people in Holland. People aren't being openminded.

When I first read that you would perform @ sensation black I already had some strange feelings. I know the audience there isn't very open minded and into other stuff than simple hardstyle.

If you would perform on a terror or breakcore party this would have never happened. I downloaded your set and I thought it was fucking great.

I think it was a programming mistake from ID&T. I'm happy to see that they try to be innovating, but I think Sensation isn't the right place to do it. (In Holland) But of course the person should have never went on the stage and hit you. I would kick his ass too if someone would come to me when i'm playing.

I once dj'ed at a party in here where they played mostly the mainstream hardcoretracks in holland (Neophyte, Art of fighters etc...) and I played the uk and french hardcore stuff from Hellfish, The Producer, Manu, Armaguet Nad etc.. People weren't used to the sound and some started shouting. Really sucks when the audience doesn't like your music, but you can't change your style.

What I wanted to say is just keep playing and when you perform in Holland again I'll try to come and check it out.
Grtz Sander

Sensation 'Not so' Black

Hey Rob!
Fucking full support for you!!
Sensation video is all over the place here in Holland...

Take care and rock on!
Jason AKA Bong-Ra

IHello mr Gilmore,

I just wanted to say that not all Dutch ppl are motherfucking retards, there's also loads of us who did enjoy what u did @ sensation, and I just wanted to say that I hope you'll continue this live act, cause it KICKS ASS!!!!

Hope to see more of you and this live act soon!!!

Greetz Roeland Meddens

ps. greetz to Kurtis B and the ppl from Biohazard and Slipknot (also 2 godly bands)

wrong place but a good artist!!!

Heey,
I saw you on sensation black 2006.

I like your music, but its the wrong public.
I hope you have more succes next time.
play your music with fun. I respect you and the band.
Greetz Tessy

You Deserve More Respect Than That!

I saw your Sensation Black performance, and I thought that it was amazing. I do not know why those fags were booing, they should just STFU. All I have to say is good set, and I hope you get booked to more open audiences and not closed minded fucks like the some of the people at Sensation that booed rather than cheered. I doubt any of them could ever attain your status or even pull off a great performance once.

So once again, I think you are the man. Thank you for putting America on the Hardcore Map.

Syed

Keep up the good work!

Hi Rob,
I'm sorry for what has happened at the Sensation Black party in The Netherlands. I hope you will return in Holland at a later time, because there are certainly openminded people who love your passion for different kinds of music. I know you are a busy man, so keep up the good work and I hope to see you again sometime!

Greetings,
DJ Syntoxic

sensation fight

Hey man,
what da fuck happened at sensation black? Not cool from the audience, damn
what a shame, you still rock dude!!!
grtz from hollandk

apologize

I want to apologize for the behaviour of the dutch crowd yesterday at Sensation Black. The hardstyle audiance is definitely not ready for hardcore-metal.

If it was a pure hardcore party the crowd would appreciate it, but the hardstyle fans are too soft for it and are very narrowminded.

I hope you will give this show again at a Thunderdome/Masters of Hardcore/Nightmare party and get the credit you all deserved.

Greetz,
Mark
